As someone that breaks out in hives every time I’m around the existing fiberglass in our house, I couldn’t be more happy with our decision to remove it all and replace it with wool.

PS. It’s easy to cut with a pair of fabric scissors. I don’t know why people in the reviews are in full-blown hysterics claiming they needed to purchase sheep shears to cut the wool. You can easily rip it apart with your hands or any utility scissors. 10/10 will definitely use on our next project.

Highly recommended great material

I put Havelock wool in my home because I care about the health of myself and my family and I do not want any toxic materials in my house so I would highly recommend purchasing Havelock wool so nice to work with I insulated the house myself and it's like putting a cozy blanket on the wall highly recommended

The batts fit really well for my 1941 built SF home. The floor above my garage is noticably warmer when walking barefoot than pre-batt install. It has muffled some of the sound from above so it doesn't sound like you're in the same room when in the garage.

The installation process itself is straightforward and the batts are well made. I tried using a drywall saw and it was really difficult to cut through the thick batts. I ended up buying heavy-duty shears based on their online video and that has worked much better! It's still hard to cut through given how thick the batts are but I take that as a good sign of the wool being packed tight as it should be.

I've also been working w/the wool w/out any itching/reactions which has been really nice vs other insulation materials. I'm not worried about my kids being around the batts either. This product is worth it as a DIYer and am extremely happy w/the cost for this high quality product.
