Unable to get an insulation blower from Havelock due to none in stock. So I converted my sawdust vacuum system into a blower. Took a little bit of metal fabrication to make an exhaust port but it worked well. Blowing in the insulation was a slow process in our basement ceiling. It was because of the pipes, wires, and ductwork made it difficult to see and get the hose all the way to the end of the stud bay. The blown insulation really expands as it is applied and so we had more insulation left over for our attic project - I calculated that we got twice as much coverage from each bale than predicted. No itching was great too!

What a great product, very glad I found it. The insulation is very easy to work with and is non-irritating to the eyes /lungs. Much safer than typical batt type insulation. The product does smell at first but has faded away. I will always use this product for my builds.

We've used this product a number of times to insulate around the perimeter of windows, we love it! The material comes packed into a bag and a few large handfuls is enough to fill a 1/2 void around an average window. Not only is the wool easy to install it is moisturizing to the hands, easy on the lungs and has a gentle natural scent.
