I purchased a family summer cabin 1100 sf. That had remained stud walls since 1960. First on my list was insulation and I recalled a friend who's family had extreme allergies especially to mold. She remediated her home and used Havelock Wool and their suffering went from ER trips for difficulty breathing, to a comfortable home and safety from whatever was triggering them. I put the idea in my head, and fast forward about +~15 years, I was presented with this cabin purchase. We have driving rain, hi winds, and BLAZING SUN.. I began to look at insulation and recalled her story; I had to know more. In early Fall 2024 I contacted Havelock Wool by phone, I was struggling with the shipping but had to know more. The guy answered and was so pleasant told me everything I needed to know, then we discussed shipping.
He told me that they had a distributor not far from me and that they had just purchased possibly 2 times what I would need. Small Planet Supply in Tumwater/Olympia/Lacey (all close towns rolled into one), would be who to call and their shipment had just left. Whoa, this is kind if working itself out. I called, again super pleasant and helpful, and purchased 2 pallets and picked it up shortly thereafter. Price was excellent!
